Tania Ibarra Villaescusa

Tania Ibarra Villaescusa earned her doctoral degree at ISAP – Sonora State Institute of Public Administration in Mexico. She has been conducting action research on gender inequality and women's leadership. As a postdoctoral fellow at CIAD - Research Center on Food and Development, she expanded her research agenda by addressing contextual factors explaining women's headship in organizational and community settings. Ibarra–Villaescusa has worked for public and private institutions and non-governmental organizations. She is the Gender Equality and Justice Program Coordinator at RI+DGE Society Inter-American Division.
